Getting Started

I've decided to start this blog to monitor progress I make on a new game I'm working on for Windows Phone 7.  The game is an RPG with a very heavy focus on combat.  The player has three party members they can combine from a combination of classes and face off in combat against a multitude of enemies.  As the party members progress in levels, so do the monsters so there are always fresh challenges.
 
The combat engine will be an active time battle system, where any character can perform an action at any time assuming they have enough Action Points (AP) available.  Combat will be heavily influenced by buffs and debuffs, which are strongly encouraged throughout the game.

The game interface is being especially designed for the touch interface using custom controls with a number of swipe gestures available.
